Celebrating 60 Years of Philosophy at MIC

The College celebrates 60 years of teaching philosophy and we want to invite our former and current students (in both the Faculty of Arts and Education), philosophy staff, and friends, to an evening of events.

MIC Limerick

The celebration will take place on Wednesday 12 March (2pm - 6pm) at MIC Limerick campus.

The programme will include a talk about the history of philosophy at MIC by the current Head of the Department of Philosophy, Dr Daniel Vázquez, an invited lecture (TBC), a panel with alumni and retired staff about the importance and relevance of philosophy, and a networking session.

The event will have no cost for participants, but we would like to ask you to register your attendance below.
