Service Desks
If you need help, the Service Desks are the first place to go. Staff there can provide any help you may need.
There is a service desk on the Ground Floor and one on the 1st Floor.
Staff will help you with:
• Any general enquiries you may have.
• Using the catalogue
• Locating materials on the shelves
• Borrowing, returning, renewing and reserving items
• Using electronic resources
• Photocopying
• Problems with library cards
• Retrieving books from stores
• Visiting other libraries
They will also refer you to more specialised staff when appropriate.
The desk on the Ground Floor is open:
9.00 am - 10.00 pm Mon-Fri. (Term Time)
2.00pm - 6.00pm Sat. (Term Time)
and
9.00 am - 4.45 pm Mon-Thur (out of term)
9.00 am - 4.30 pm Fri (out of term)
