Self Issue/Return of Books

There are self service machines on the ground floor of the library where you can borrow and return your loans. Two are in the area in front of the downstairs Service Desk. Standard and 1 Day loans can be issued and returned here. You can request an email receipt for your transaction for your records.

The machines provide on-screen instructions on how to issue a book.

You will not be able to use the self service machines if:

• You have overdue items
• Your outstanding fines exceed €5

Audio-visual material is issued and returned at the Issue Desk in the Audio-Visual library and not at the self service machines.
