Renewing Checked Out Material

General Lending items automatically renew unless they are requested by another borrower. If there are no requests, the item will renew 12 times before it has to be returned.

You can view the status of all of your items including due dates, renewals and requests by logging into 'My Account'

If you are not allowed to renew it will be for one or more of the following reasons:

• Fines have accumulated on your Library card in excess of €50
• The item has been requested by another user
• The loan has already been renewed
• The item is a 1 Day loan and cannot be renewed
