Academic Departments

The Faculty of Education at Mary Immaculate College has six departments covering key areas and disciplines in initial teacher education. The faculty, which includes staff in the School of Education (Post-Primary), delivers the Bachelor of Education, B Ed in Education and Psychology, the BA in Early Childhood Care and Education and five BA in Education programmes at MIC Thurles at undergraduate level. It also provides a range of programmes at postgraduate level as well as in the professional development and lifelong learning categories.
