MIC LGBTQI+ Staff Network
In 2022, the MIC LGBTQI+ Staff Network was formed with the aim of the group being an informal social and peer-to-peer support LGBTQI+ network. The group aims to be a community for LGBTQI+ staff members, to engage their allies at MIC and a support for those considering their own identity.
Membership of the network is open to all MIC Staff members who support the aims and objectives of the network. The network may organise some events and activities for LGBTQI+ MIC Staff members only. All MIC staff members are invited to act as allies and to attend open events organised by the network.

LGBTQI+ Network Launch
On 30 January 2023, the MIC LGBTQI+ Staff Network was officially launched by President Eugene Wall. This was followed by a more informal roundtable event with guests Brian Sheehan and Noel Gavin.
