Declan was appointed to the role of Quality Systems Manager in April 2023.
He is responsible for ensuring that the organization's quality management system (QMS) meets regulatory requirements and adheres to industry standards.
His role involves overseeing and supporting Professional Service Departments in the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of quality management processes and procedures within the organization.
Declan comes to Mary Immaculate college from the Aviation sector where Quality comes first.
He has 20 years experience in both Aircraft maintenance and documentation, from Inspections to Quality management systems document control as per ISO9001.
Graduating from Griffith College Limerick in 2019 with a Bachelors of Engineering in Industrial Engineering
Holding Non-destructive testing approvals IAW EN4179 certification requirements.
Completing a Train the Trainer in 2014, allowing Declan to design and deliver bespoke training based on his own training accomplishments.
