PATH 1 National Symposium
Theme: Create, Collaborate, Consolidate: mapping the innovative and collaborative projects funded under PATH 1 and consolidating learning on equity of access to the teaching profession.
The PATH 1 Symposium, hosted by Mary Immaculate College, will take place on Thursday 5 June 2025 at MIC Limerick campus.

Call for Proposals
The theme of the symposium is ‘Create, Collaborate, Consolidate: Mapping the innovative and collaborative projects funded under PATH 1 and consolidating learning on equity of access to the teaching profession'. It will showcase and celebrate the research, projects and activities delivered across the participating HEIs in Ireland, sharing best practice in promoting widening participation in teacher education.
We are delighted to invite PATH 1 practitioners, researchers, faculty and students to submit an abstract on the theme for the following proposal types
Proposal Types
- Oral Presentations (15 or 30 minutes)
- Experiential Activity (30 minutes)
- Poster Presentations
Submissions are not confined to one category; please submit proposals for multiple categories/projects, if appropriate. They should include a 200-word abstract and a short bio (50-100 words max).
Closing date for submission is 7 April 2025.
