Former MIC President honoured with Limerick Person of the Month award

Former MIC President Prof. Eugene Wall

Former President of Mary Immaculate College (MIC) Professor Eugene Wall has been honoured as Limerick Person of the Month January 2025 for his contributions to education in Limerick.

Reminiscing on his time at MIC, Eugene said: “I spent a total of 44 years at MIC, the fact I stayed so long is a real indication of how much I enjoyed it. Working with the students and staff there was a real boon."

Eugene retired in August 2024, having spent 44 years working at MIC, seven of which were as President of the College.
