Student ID Cards
New Undergraduate students in Limerick will get their MIC Student ID Cards at Orientation. Their photo will be taken on the day, and their card will be processed immediately on site.
New Postgraduate students and students attending MIC Thurles need to upload a headshot photograph to get an MIC Student ID Card.

To upload your photograph, please visit idcard.mic.ul.ie.
Please note your login is your ID number and your password is your Network Logon password (which you use to log in to your MIC Student Email account and Moodle for example).
Once you have uploaded your photograph and successfully completed Online Module Registration for Semester 1, your Student ID Card will be printed and posted to your home address.

Replacement ID Card
If you need a replacement student card, please do not upload a photograph here.
There is a €10 replacement ID card fee.
You can either call to the SAA Office for a replacement – and pay at counter by card.
OR
You can pay via the following link: https://www.mic.ul.ie/charges. (Please pay on a desktop pc or laptop as the transaction will not complete on a phone). Once paid, please email your transaction number to: saa@mic.ul.ie (your card will not be processed until we receive this email). Your card will be processed and you will be contacted when it's ready to collect.
The SAA Office is located in Room 112, First Floor Foundation Building, and our opening hours are M-F: 10am-12:30pm and 2pm-4:30pm.
