MIC offers accommodation at both its campuses in Limerick and Thurles for First Year undergraduate students. Courtbrack Student Accommodation is purpose-built, self-catering accommodation offering single, deluxe single and twin rooms approximately a five-minute walk to the MIC Limerick campus. MIC, St Patrick’s Campus, Thurles has 36 single ensuite bedrooms located onsite. There are also a range of private accommodation options listed on this page. MIC Limerick: Courtbrack Accommodation

Courtbrack Student Accommodation is a purpose-built unit providing quality self-catering accommodation for first year undergraduate students, male and female. The complex, situated on Courtbrack Avenue, is approximately a five-minute walk to the MIC Limerick campus.

Booking forms for 2025/26 are no longer avilable for Courtbrack Accommodation.

MIC Thurles: On-Campus Accommodation

MIC Thurles has 36 ensuite bedrooms conveniently located on-campus. Spread over three floors, they provide accommodation for male and female first year students on a single room basis.

Facilities and services include:

Bedrooms equipped with study desk, chair and storage; students provide their own bed linen and towels
Fully-equipped, self-catering kitchen area
All bedrooms have bathrooms with a sink, toilet and shower
Spacious, communal TV lounge
Housekeeping service

How to Book MIC Accommodation

Booking forms for Courtbrack Accommodation Limerick 2025/26 are no longer available.

Booking Forms for MIC St Patrick’s Thurles On-Campus Accommodation 2025/26 will be available on this page from the 25th October.

You must be attending First Year of any course at MIC Limerick or MIC Thurles to avail of MIC Accommodation. Viewing can be arranged by appointment.

Completed bookings will be added to our list as they are received.
You can either go onto the deposit paid list (subject to availability) or the waiting list with no deposit paid (also subject to availability). Please indicate on the booking form if you wish to go onto the no deposit list.
If you wish to pay a Deposit (subject to availability) please call the MIC Accommodation Office on Wednesday 23rd October from 9.30am. Your form must be received on or before 5pm on Tuesday 22nd October. If we are still taking deposits when you call we will give you the last few numbers of the bank account details to transfer the deposit to and your unique booking number (UBN) which you must use as an identifier when transferring the deposit. Please note your form has to be on the system in order to generate your UBN.
All completed bookings will be confirmed by email as soon as we receive your deposit payment or you have indicated that you want to be on the no deposit list. If you don't receive your confirmation contact the Accommodation Office.

You must contact us at 061-302500 on the Day of the Leaving Certificate results and again on the day you receive your CAO offer of a place. Please note if we do not hear from you by phone on both these dates we will not hold a room for you if one becomes available. The phone lines will be open from 9.30am to 9.30pm on both days and are always very busy so keep trying.
Rooms cannot be held for second round offers or rechecks. All Bookings must be for the full academic year.
Students and their guarantor will be required to sign a Licence Agreement for this period (a copy of the Licence Agreement is available on request).
Booking cancellations caused by a failure to secure qualification points to study at Mary Immaculate College or, on the waiting list and a room cannot be offered will incur an administrative charge of €100. Cancellations for any other reason will result in the complete forfeit of the €850 deposit.

Note: The breakdown of the booking/security deposit is as follows: (1) A security/damage deposit of €250 refundable minus damages and missing items etc. at the end of the academic year (2) A non-refundable utilities charge of €600. This covers the cost of electricity, refuse collection, housekeeping service, television etc.
