MISU Collaborations

Mary I Students' Union (MISU) is the representative body for the students of Mary Immaculate College (MIC). MISU is here to provide support, advice, and representation for its members, the students of MIC. MIC has approximately 4,500 students who are based across two campuses in Limerick and Thurles. Students automatically become members of MISU upon enrolment and MISU is accountable to the students whom it represents. The MIC EDII Office is working with MISU to deliver relevant projects to students.

Period Poverty

MIC and Mary Immaculate Students’ Union (MISU) have teamed up to provide students with free sanitary products to help address the issue of period poverty.

The initiative follows on from the success of MISU’s Period Poverty Awareness Week in October which aimed to raise awareness of period poverty and remove the stigma around periods. Read more about the period poverty initiative here.
