EDII Awards
Mary Immaculate College (MIC) has been rewarded for its efforts to embed equality, diversity and inclusion into its wider organisational systems and is continuing to build towards goals in the EDII field.
Investors in Diversity
The Investors in Diversity Bronze Award from the Irish Centre for Diversity (ICD) recognises the work undertaken by Irish organisations who have proactive diversity and inclusion policies in place.
The Investors in Diversity Awards are Ireland’s first ever all-encompassing diversity and inclusion awards for Irish organisations and was introduced by the Irish Centre for Diversity earlier this year. The awards are rated on a bronze, silver and gold merit.

Athena SWAN Awards
MIC achieved the Athena SWAN Institution Bronze award in 2019 and work is ongoing to implement the four-year action plan. On successful retention of the bronze award, MIC will be required to work towards Silver accreditation in 2027.
The Faculty of Arts submitted its first Bronze level award in June 2022 with results due in Autumn 2022.
The Faculty of Education will submit its first Bronze level award in 2024.
