Congratulations to our PhD candidate Hélène Charderon who was invited to share her research on 19th-century French children's literature at the 2019 Postgraduate Study Day of the Association des Etudes Françaises et Francophones d’Irlande (ADEFFI), with a presentation titled: "Instruire et plaire: l'implication idéologique de la littérature enfantine dans le débat sur l'éducation en France au XIX siècle".
