Blog: German-Ukranian writer Dmitrij Kapitelman visited MIC
Thanks to the DAAD Writer in Residence Programme the German-Ukranian writer Dmitrij Kapitelman visited MIC on March 7th. He read from his novel "Das Lächeln meines unsichtbaren Vaters" and engaged in a lively discussion with German Studies students and staff about his novel, his transcultural experiences in Germany, Israel and the Ukraine, and about the German language, particularly the humour in compound nouns!
