MIC Hosts RDS Primary Science Fair
The RDS Primary Science Fair Limerick was hosted by Mary Immaculate College for the first time in January 2016.
Roughly 2,000 primary school children participated in the event which featured an exciting educational entertainment programme for children, families and teachers. One of the aims of the RDS Primary Science Fair (as it was then known but is now known as ESB Science Blast) is to develop teacher confidence and skills in teaching STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) using an inquiry-based approach.
