Introduction

Welcome to your MIC orientation tour

Welcome to Mary Immaculate College! MIC has a reputation for excellence in teaching, learning and research, as well as plenty of opportunities to get involved in sporting, cultural and social activities. You have so much to look forward to over the next few years.

Orientation is an important and exciting first step in your college experience. During orientation, you will be set up with all the things you will need, such as getting your student ID number, your student card, and your student email login details. You’ll also be given a tour of the campus to help familiarise yourself with classrooms, lecture halls and student amenities. Remember, orientation is also a great chance to meet new people and make lifelong friends! It can be daunting to strike up a conversation with a stranger but don’t forget that you are all going through the same new experience, so don’t be shy!

Meet your tour guides!

For our virtual orientation four MIC students will guide you around our beautiful campuses, walk you through our buildings and facilities, and show you what life is like at MIC. Let’s meet some of them now.

Congratulations on making it to MIC! Allow our friendly guides to welcome you to our Limerick and Thurles campuses. At MIC, you will get the full student experience.

MIC is a multi-campus institution, with campuses in the heart of Limerick city and Thurles town, and a growing student population of over 5,000.

Aisling Knox, President of MISU
